9th Article of Faith

We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.

What does revelation mean?  Revelation means communication from God to man.  Who can receive revelation?  The Prophet receives revelation for the whole church.  The Stake President receives revelation for the Stake.  The Bishop receives revelation for the Ward.  We have revelation for our individual needs.  How can we seek revelation for ourselves?  (Through listening to the words of the prophets, reading the scriptures, praying, etc.).

What is a revelation that God HAS revealed?  Example: Nephi obtaining the Brass Plates from Laban.

What is a revelation that He NOW reveals?  Example:   Joseph Smith translating the Book of Mormon from the golden plates. 

What is a revelation that He WILL YET reveal?  Example:  The second coming

Cut the text boxes and put magnets or velcro dots on the back of each box.  Read through the scripture a couple of times with the class.  Start removing one text box at a time until there are none left.  Repeat the scripture each time you remove a box.  I like to laminate the whole thing and use Velcro dot.  This makes it more durable and I can use it again and again.
