Primary Football

Divide the class into 2 teams, the Red team and the Blue team.

Every football game starts with a coin toss.  Both teams start on the 50 yard line facing their goal.  The team that wins the coin toss will get to choose how many yards they want to go.  Let’s say that Red team wins the coin toss.  Red team choose a yardage, the higher the yardage the harder the question.  If they get the question right, they move their football the corresponding number of yards.

It is now Blue teams turn.

If at any time the Red team gets the question wrong, Blue team can “intercept” by answering the same question.  If Blue team answers the question right, they move their football the corresponding number of yards.  If no one can answer the question it is a “dead ball”, and Blue team gets to go again.

Continue playing.  When the team gets to end-zone it is a touchdown and the team goes back to the 50 yard line.

At the end of class the team with the most touchdowns wins.
